Network Type Indicator

Network Type Indicator lets you put an icon in the status bar that will display the type of cellular connection your phone has at any given time, and whether mobile data is connected or not.

This app is most useful for devices that don't include this information in the status bar, or that hide it when roaming.

Notes:

- If the app fails to load on boot or crashes, try excluding it from battery optimizations.

- Due to the way Android works, a non-removable notification must be present along the status bar icon.

- Likewise the icon can not be placed in the right hand side of the status bar.

- In Lollipop and up, the notification will show in the lockscreen. I'm not aware of any way to avoid that.

- This app is expected to work in multi-SIM devices, but (for the time being) only for the primary card.

- Some devices (e.g. Xiaomi/MIUI devices) will display the app's icon instead of the connection type in the status bar. In those devices you'll only be able to see the network type information in the app's notification.

Permissions explained:

- (Lollipop and lower only) Phone / Device ID & call information: read phone status and identity - This is required to read the network type. This app doesn't use a phone's "identity" for any purpose, but these permissions always go together.

- Other: run at startup - This is required for the notification to load at boot (if you so choose)

O indicador de tipo de rede permite colocar um ícone na barra de status que exibirá o tipo de conexão celular que seu telefone possui a qualquer momento e se os dados móveis estão conectados ou não.

Este aplicativo é mais útil para dispositivos que não incluem essas informações na barra de status ou que a ocultam quando estão em roaming.

Notas:

- Se o aplicativo não for carregado na inicialização ou travar, tente excluí-lo das otimizações da bateria.

- Devido à maneira como o Android funciona, uma notificação não removível deve estar presente ao longo do ícone da barra de status.

- Da mesma forma, o ícone não pode ser colocado no lado direito da barra de status.

- No Lollipop e acima, a notificação será mostrada na tela de bloqueio. Não estou ciente de nenhuma maneira de evitar isso.

- Este aplicativo deve funcionar em dispositivos multi-SIM, mas (por enquanto) apenas para o cartão principal.

- Alguns dispositivos (por exemplo, dispositivos Xiaomi / MIUI) exibirão o ícone do aplicativo em vez do tipo de conexão na barra de status. Nesses dispositivos, você só poderá ver as informações do tipo de rede na notificação do aplicativo.

Permissões explicadas:

- (Apenas pirulito e inferior) Telefone / ID do dispositivo e informações de chamada: ler status e identidade do telefone - isso é necessário para ler o tipo de rede. Este aplicativo não usa a "identidade" de um telefone para nenhuma finalidade, mas essas permissões sempre combinam.

- Outro: executado na inicialização - Isso é necessário para que a notificação seja carregada na inicialização (se você escolher)
